22 Million Registered Users
ITV’s video on demand was first launched in 2015 and since then the app has had over 27 million downloads across the country. On top of this 22 million people are registered on the hub database, which includes over half of Britons aged 16 – 24.
The flexibility of video on demand means you can target your audience whenever, wherever. You can even select the shows you want your ad to show for, where engagement can be further enhanced. Due to app downloads and data linking, advertising on ITV Hub now has the ability to target a range of demographic profiles. With over 400 combinations available, audience targeting can be extremely precise and limit wastage.
The Love Island Takeover
During Clearing for the University of Derby we planned and delivered a regional VOD campaign targeting the Love Island series ensuring we had an advert in every commercial break. Love Island is the most watched programme ever on a digital channel amongst 16 – 34 year olds.
As a result of the activity that was conducted, we saw a 42% uplift in new website users in the targeted regions compared with the same period the previous year.
